Part of the McKenzie Bedroom Collection, the McKenzie Queen Storage Bed features raised panels and six spacious, under bed storage drawers - great for storing quilts and linens. The drawers have English dovetailed drawer construction, mortise and tenon joinery, and fitted backs for stability and strength. 
 
Every McKenzie bed even features adjustable levelers to insure complete leveling, regardless of flooring.  The drawers also have full extension metal ball bearing glides that allowing each drawer to completely open fully.
 
Whittier Wood is very conscious about it’s use of wood and the environment which is why Whittier uses American red alder wood for it’s furniture because Alder regenerates naturally and grows quickly and prolifically.  Alder is a beautiful hardwood similar to cherry wood.
